The movie 'Jar', which has been in the news for a long time, is going to be screened from 26th Baisakh. About 3 years after the film was made, the production team decided to screen 'Jar'.

Apple Entertainment, Rich Entertainment and FD Company have purchased distribution rights for the screening of this film based on the historical story of writer Indra Bahadur Rai in Nepal. Seven Seas Cinema has been contracted as the international distributor. This week, after the agreement with the distribution companies, the production team announced the performance date.  The

film stars actors Saugat Malla, Anupavikram Shahi and actress Gitanjali Thapa. Directed by Phurwa Tshiring Lama, the entire shooting of this film has been done in Sikkim. It is said that most of the actors and the entire technical team are participating in the film from India. This film is based on a real event that happened in Nepali society at the end of 1800s. The

film has cinematography by Saravanan Ilavarsu, editing by Akhilesh Rai, music by Jhuma Limbu and Ganga Thapa. According to the production team, the film will be simultaneously screened in international markets including Nepal and India.
