Actors are disappointed when their films keep 'flopping' at the box office. Either they rarely choose films or they decide to take a long break. The same happened to Bollywood actors Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan and many other actors. But in the case of actor Akshay Kumar, this did not apply.
Even when 10 films flop in a row, he is not deterred.
In recent years, Akshay's film journey has not been successful in terms of business. Films like Vacchan Pandey, Samrat Prithviraj, Raksha Bandhan, Ram Sethu, Selfie, Mission Raniganj, Bade Mian Chhote Mian, Sarfira, Khel Khel Mein and Singham Again did not earn well at the box office.
Even when consecutive films flop, Akshay takes it as an inspiration for new work. In an interview with the Indian media, he said, "I will not stop if the film flops." This will be the inspiration for my new film. I am always honest at work. He has never backed down to win the hearts of the audience.'
Akshay's films keep coming one after another. The critics have also accused him of playing a bad movie lately. To break the story, he once expressed that he can play any role to earn money. He said, "People tell me how many films I have done in a year, but I have understood three things in life - work, earnings and karma." I am working very hard to earn. I have not yet said no to any work that comes to me.'
His new film 'Sky Force' has been released from today. This film is based on a true incident of the Indian Air Force. Akshay plays the role of an Air Force officer. Sharing the poster on social media, Akshay said that films based on true events always attract him. I have worked in more than 150 films. But films based on true events always attract me," he wrote.
Akshay has hope from this film made in Indian rupees 80 crores. Will this film become a 'game changer' for him when he is constantly filming? That remains to be seen.
