'Kathmandu International Film Festival' (KIMF) is being organized at Hotel Kanchenjunga in Dharan on January 8 and 9. Purvanchal Rocks is going to organize this festival outside Kathmandu under 'Ghumti Kimf'. Purvanchal Rocks is active in music video production.
In Dharan's Kimf, tribal Limbu film 'Numaphung', Rai community's 'Rongpahamu' and short films 'Britain's Lonely Gorkha', 'God's Buffalo', 'At Another Winter', Nepali Fiction and 'Come Over for a Drink Kanchi' will be screened . It is said that an interactive program will also be organized on the films shown at the festival.
Since its inception in 2007, KIMF has been organizing a festival showing various types of films from political, cultural, climate change to feminism.
