The filmmakers are now dissatisfied with the agreement reached by the working group meeting of the Film Producers Association and the Nepal Film Association on Tuesday. The working group of the two organizations has now agreed that the recommendations of the producer association must be taken for the screening of the film. Earlier, there was a mandatory rule to register a film with the Film Association for film screening. Edited excerpt of Kantipur's conversation with some filmmakers about this decision:

Now the film is being transferred to new generations . Politicians are trying to control this film. Archaic-minded organizations have tried to stifle the freedom of the maker . On top of that, film institutions suffer from archaic thinking .
Organizations other than the state do not have such rights . A creator should be honest about the sovereignty of the state . Moreover, they cannot be made binding by any organization. Lately, every union organization is trying to curb . It is only a way for organizations to raise money for themselves.

Even now, the producer must register with the Film Movie Association . The distributor registers, the manufacturer gives 5000 rupees for registration . On top of that, the rule of requiring the recommendation of the Producers' Association to release a film should be abolished. Films made with the permission of the Government of Nepal are not required to be registered with any organization.

There has been no written statement about this . I found out from reading the news . If this decision is true then false . Earlier, there was talk about making film screening easy and organized. I also went to one or two meetings. How to make it organized? There should be a scientific method. But now the decision has been made . It does not belong to the manufacturer . Registration is mandatory wrong thing .
