Aamir wants 'Missing Ladies' to win Oscars

Kiran Rao's film 'Lapata Ladies' was recommended by India for the Oscar award. The producer of the film, actor Aamir Khan has been very active in promoting the film since then.

He has also started an Oscar campaign for the film. In this context, in an interview with the Indian media, Aamir talked about the meaning of winning the Oscar. Aamir's dream is to win an Oscar.

``If a film wins an award for India, the audience is very happy,'' he says, ``I don't know how seriously the competition should be taken . But if I win, I will be very happy. Aamir says that if he wins the Oscar, the film will reach the audience all over the world.

Aamir Khan has wanted to bring 'Mahabharat' to the screen on a grand scale for many years . He decided not to start this project after long preparation and research. Recently, Aamir spoke to BBC and said,  "This is my dream project and it's a very scary project. It is huge. I will not make any mistake while making it.'

He added, 'It is a big responsibility, because being Indian, it is very close to us, it is in our blood. So I want to make it perfect. I want to make every Indian feel proud.

He said that he wants to show the world what India has. I don't know when it will happen. But I want to work on this," he said.

The shooting of Aamir's new film 'Sitare Zameen Par' has been completed recently. The film will release in the summer of 2025. Also, it is said that Aamir is preparing to do a cameo in the Rajinikanth starrer film 'Coolie'.
