She used to get excited after singing songs since childhood. The desire to listen, sing and recite songs never left him. As I grew up, I wanted to do something in singing. She used to sing songs to everyone who came to her house with a cheerful voice. She was heartened by the praise that followed. Asmita Adhikari was born in Jhapa and moved to Kathmandu after studying up to class 7.

During her further studies, she used to participate in school musical events. Later she started taking vocal classes. A singer has been added to the name of 26-year-old Asmita, who has continued with that desire. Asmita, who has sung in famous songs like 'Timro Mayale Bandher Rak', 'Kale Ketale', 'Lajjavati Jhar Kath', 'Tadha Ho Pei Mero Maya', 'Yata Pareli Jhimzhim Bho', 'Kafal Kamala' etc. She says that this is her strong foundation in the musical world. "I am getting knowledge of all kinds of songs," she says, "I want to be able to sing songs, stay in everyone's heart by singing songs, that's all I want." For singing

songs, Asmita got full support from her family. The reason for that is because he is the only one in the family who is interested in this field. He was allowed by his brother, father and mother to sing, listen and learn. Because of this, she studied nursing and eventually landed in singing. Asmita used to participate in various reality shows since then, but could not make it to the Mathilla round. But 2018 was a happy year for him. She was selected for Nepal Idol by singing the song 'Mero Pyaro Mangbo Tu'. She says that she has learned a lot from the platform in about a year, having made the journey to the finalist. "Even though I didn't win the final, I'm very happy," she says, "I got the opportunity to sing a lot of songs."

'Versatile' Asmita in singing At the beginning of her career, Asmita felt that someone would have listened to the song and let her sing. But now the situation has changed. "When you are becoming better, you are looking for them from all over," she said. While visiting Myagdi for a show, a female fan told her that she 'wanted to be a singer like Asmita'. "Asmita became very emotional after listening to him, her eyes filled with tears," she said. Recently, what is the future of music in Nepal? Asmita says, "Even in Nepal, the message is getting out that it is possible to earn income and identity from the music sector. But it should have a proper platform and an environment to learn music. Recently, the musical atmosphere in the country is developing well and people living outside the country also love Nepali songs and music, so she is very happy to come to this area.

'Versatile' Asmita in singing When Asmita was one and a half years old, her father Umesh left. Umesh, who moved to Kathmandu for the future of his children, spent 24 years abroad. Lately, he used to forget his sorrows by listening to his daughter's voice. When he thought that his daughter would do something by singing, he suggested her to learn music. Mother Menuka also used to inspire Asmita to sing. Asmita was very happy when she put the money she earned after recording the first song into her mother's hands.

Asmita thought of doing social service by becoming a nurse along with singing. For some time she worked in a hospital as an intern. Later she got a license, but she has not been able to give it continuously. The only reason for that is the preoccupation of music. While singing, she has reached Australia, America, UK, Thailand, Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea, Singapore and other countries. Asmita says that it gets emotional when the audience sings along with her in a foreign land. "He remembers the words of every song and sings them," she said, "then she feels very happy." Most of my friends are abroad. They have their own lifestyles, they are busy,” she says.
