Machindra Football Club has become the champion of the 15th International Invitational Control Itahari Gold Cup Football Tournament. In Saturday's final, Machindra won the title in the first participation by defeating Everest Youth Kabal Morang 2-0.
This is Machindra's first title of the season. In the Falgunand Gold Cup held in Panchthar, Machindra, who was defeated by the Church Boys and became the runner-up, won the champion's trophy with 10 lakhs along with becoming the Itahari Gold Cup champion. Everest became the runner-up and managed to win 5 lakhs .
Foreign players Malik Yusuf and Omulaja Nurain Karim scored in Machindra's victory. Yusuf scored a goal in the fourth minute of the game and gave the team the lead. Machindra's Karim scored the second goal in the 85th minute to ensure victory. Despite the support of the audience, the two-time winner Everest did not perform as expected. Man of the match Everest captain Ashok Khawas was chosen . He got 10,000. The best player was Kuldeep Karki of Everest. He received 1 lakh and a trophy . Machindra dominated the legislature.
Machindra's Vishal Shrestha was declared the best goalkeeper, Sanish Shrestha the best defender, Vishal Ghalan the best midfielder. Malik Yusuf was selected as the best forward and Santosh Neupane as the best coach. They got 20,000 people. Malik Yusuf of Machindra who scored 4 goals became the top scorer. He got 25 thousand prize .
Savin Ghimire of Rashtriya Jagriti Club was the organizer of emerging players . He received a 32-inch LED television . Koshi Pradesh Tourism Minister Sadanand Mandal and Koshi Pradesh Football Association President Kishore Rai gave prizes to the winning players.
