Nepal Premier League rival team Karnali Yaks has signed actress Swastima Khadka as the 'Face of Karnali Yaks'.
After joining Karnali owned by Himalayan Wilders and Engineers, Swastima said Karnali province will be popular for cricket along with its different culture, lifestyle and environment.
Nepali cricket is becoming known globally, she said, 'Karnali Yaks has come up with a plan to take Nepali cricket to the world. It was because of that influence that I joined this team.
Sabitra Bhandari, the striker of the Nepali national football team, was playing in France and her influence inspired her to take up sports. Nepalese striker Savitra Bhandari is playing professional football in France. He has also introduced Nepal and Nepali in France. That's why sports influenced me.'' She explained easily that her husband, Nischal Basnet, also belongs to Karnali province, so she joined the Karnali Yaks. In the
