Most of the teams before the competition are playing with one goal, that is to win. Lalitpur Queens, who are going to play in the Everest Women's Volleyball League, are no different, the team also aims to win the title. There are 4 players playing from Nepali national team and 3 players from Thailand. These are the basis of Lalitpur to reach its goal.

The Vatsalya Women's Volleyball League, which Nepal Volleyball Association is doing in collaboration with Infinity Dreams Pvt. Ltd. for the first time on a franchise concept, is starting on Monday. The 6-day tournament will end on Saturday. Lalitpur will begin their journey by facing city rivals Kathmandu Spikers in their first match on Monday.

Salina Shrestha, Poonam Chand, Safia Pun and Kamna Bista are four players of the national team in Lalitpur. All of them represented Nepal in the Central Asia Volleyball Association (CAVA) Women's Volleyball Nations League last month. Poonam and Kamna are also the players that Nepal Police Club won the Kava Women's Club Championship in Maldives last week.

Bhavna Tamang, Nisha Chaudhary and Anusha Chaudhary have already played for the Nepali U-20 team. In other words, 7 out of 9 players in the Lalitpur team have experienced international competitions. Nehakumari Chaudhary is the only player left to gain international experience in the Lalitpur team. Jakyusha Thapa was picked up by Lalitpur from a talent hunt. Salina, the marquee player of the team, will captain Lalitpur. Three Thai players of the team, Sutadata Chuweulim, Patrathip Shantrakun and Waranya Srilaud, have come down to Kathmandu from Bangkok on Friday night. Among the three foreign players are two spikers and one lifter. Sutadata has played in various leagues in the Philippines in the past. Coach Utsav Khadka believes that he will play well here as well. Patrathip and Waranya are yet to play for the Thai national team.

"Our preparation has been good, we were ready a little earlier," said coach Khadka, "Nepali players will get to learn from foreign players, this is the specialty of the franchise league." Players from different countries have come to other teams, the more Nepali players can play with foreign players, the higher our volleyball level will be.'' The league is expected to be somewhat different. The Nepali national players of our team are good, they are good in receiving, defense and attack. If the middle blockers do well, our team is good, we can win the title," Khadka said, "Our team is very eager to play. It is natural to be excited because this kind of league is going to be held for the first time.'' Rupsey Sports is a subsidiary of Rupsey Holidays. Initially CoreSync Nepal took over Lalitpur. But Rupsey has taken ownership of Lalitpur from Coresink. Lalitpur has already appointed Ayesha Shakya as its 'Brand Ambassador'. Rupsey Holidays is the main sponsor of the team. Global IME Bank is a co-sponsor, Bone Consultancy as a partner, Saver and New Plast and Kits sponsor Kelmi.

Ayesha, who won three golds in the South Asian Games and one bronze in the Asian Games, said at the Lalitpur team's public and trophy tour program on Friday, "I was born in this Lalitpur." I am especially grateful to be the brand ambassador of the Lalitpur team. I want to wish the team the best of luck to bring this trophy again. Lalitpur MP Tosima Karki and Lalitpur Deputy Mayor Manjali Shakya wished Lalitpur Queens a win.

I'm a little nervous

captain Our preparations are going well. After training with foreign players, our team will be coordinated. We have never played with foreign players. We are going to play together with foreign players for the first time, we hope that the coordination will be good. Maybe foreign players play better than us. Since our foreign players are good, we have set a goal to win the title. All the teams are enthusiastic about it. I am also very excited.  I'm a little excited and a little nervous as a captain for the first time, but I have to manage my team. As it was going to be organized for the first time, I did not know much about the franchise competition, but now I am understanding little by little. However, I understand that it would be good for the players if this happens regularly. How many Nepalese athletes have gone abroad, if such a tournament was held, maybe they would not have gone abroad.

Let's get hands on the major games

, Chief Rupsey Sports and Management I am very enthusiastic about the women's volleyball league. It is going to happen for the first time in South Asia. As the craze of fans of various sports has increased in Nepal, volleyball is also a national sport, so we are investing so that it can be taken forward. Since it was the first season, we were a bit confused about what to do and how to do it.  At first we were trying out for some other team. But we requested the organizers and informed them that our priority is Lalitpur. At the beginning, we took ownership of this team after requesting him to invest in it. Our target was Lalitpur, if we didn't get it we would take another city. My ancestry is Myagdi, offices are in Kathmandu. We had a special love for Lalitpur, so we made it our goal to get this team. Volleyball is very popular in Myagdi, I also played volleyball till college level. Comparatively speaking, our team has good Nepalese players. We have kept three players from Thailand. So I think we have become the strongest team.

The society's thinking about sports and athletes in Nepal should be changed. An environment should be created where any child follows a sports icon and thinks he can become like that, for that investment should come from the corporate sector. We believe that this tradition will gradually develop in Nepal. Although cricket is a popular sport in Nepal, volleyball also has a distinct influence. If we compare with other developing countries in the world like us, in all sports, Nepal  The fanbase is very good, not seen in other countries. Supporters also have feelings towards the game and players.

It is necessary to change the thinking of the society, which creates an environment where I become a player or join the game. That is how we have come now. Now we are in volleyball, our goal is in many sports. We are trying to get exposure and training opportunities for Nepali athletes abroad by entering into agreements with sports management companies in India and Europe. Rupsey Sports will handle all that management in the future, including player management, event management, etc. We will establish relationships with clubs outside of here. If we take into account the preparation of volleyball, the calculation that the supporters are paying, if we do not return all the money invested in the first year, we are confident that the investment will be safe in the following years and we will reach a position to increase investment.

Rupsey Holidays and Rupsey Sports Management are different companies. Rupsey Holidays is investing heavily in cricket. Now we are in Volleyball from Rupsey Sports Management. Our aim is to go into volleyball, football, cricket and basketball, either through sponsorship or partnership. We are looking at all the options and how to join. We were a bit aggressive in cricket, now we have started in volleyball. In Nepal, there was no craze in women's sports compared to men's, but it is gradually increasing. That's why we came through women's volleyball and we think that our investment will help. We are confident in our team and aim to win the title.
