Chitwan Shakti has announced two foreign players for the Vatsalya Everest Women's Volleyball League on the same day on Wednesday. Along with this, Chitwan has also completed the quota of three foreign players. Chitwan signed two Indian players Surya S and KP Anushree to the team.

Chitwan Shakti had already picked up Azerbaijan's outside hitter Ksenia Pavelnikov. There is a provision to keep three foreign players in one team in the franchise tournament which is going to be held for the first time in Nepal. The

She also won the title of best spiker in the NVA league in 2080.

Anushree is a young Indian star player. Chitwan brought him into the team as an outside hitter for this tournament. She previously played for Everest Club in NVA Club Championship and NVA League in Nepal. She was the best player in the club championship and the best spiker in the NVA league. Aruna Shahi, captain of the Nepali women's national team, has been Chitwan's marquee player.

Russian players in Gandaki

Gandaki Thunders has announced the name of the first foreign player for the Everest Volleyball League. Gandaki signed Russian opposite hitter Alyssa Trubiak. Alyssa is a popular face in domestic leagues in Russia and Canada. She has played in the Ontario University Tournament for two consecutive seasons from York University in Canada. She has also played in the Visakha League in Russia.

Pokhara Thunders owner Saurabh Kedia said he was very happy to sign an impressive player from Russia.
