In the Central Asian Volleyball Association (CAVA) Women's Nations League Volleyball, India defeated Sri Lanka and reached the final of the tournament.
India reached the final by defeating Sri Lanka 3-0 in straight sets in the first semi-final match held at the National Sports Council (Rakhep) on Tuesday. India won the first set 25-15 and the second set 25-16 in their favor.
Similarly, in the third and final set of the match, India won 25-23 over Sri Lanka. In the third set of the match, Sri Lanka's performance was excellent. After Sri Lanka took a lead of 12-8, India had a hard time for some time, but Sri Lanka could not maintain that lead for long. After that, India scored four points in a row to tie the game at 12-12.
After that, at the end of the third set, which became very competitive, India won 25-23.
Today, Nepal and Iran are competing in the second semi-final match. India will compete for the title with the winner of that match. Earlier, Nepal lost 3-2 to Iran in the group stage match.
