The Government of Nepal has allocated 600 million rupees for the 10th National Games to be held in Surkhet this year. In the joint meeting of the Federal Parliament, Finance Minister Varshman Pun presented the budget for 2081/82 and allocated the amount for the next national sports.

The government has allocated Rs 3.5 billion to the Ministry of Youth and Sports. This amount is 63 crore more than in the current financial year.
