The Lalbandi Nagar Literary Council honored three people on Saturday with 'Language and Literature, Local Talent and Martyr Krishna Lal Adhikari Memorial Award-2081'.

The Parishad honored the novel 'Bora' written by journalist Akhand Bhandari with the 'Lalbandi Nagar Wangmay Parishad Language and Literature Award-2081'. The novel Bora was selected among the ten works prepared by the selection committee. This award is worth 50 thousand rupees. Similarly, Shankar Shrestha, who has been doing journalism for a long time, received the 'Lalbandi Nagar Wangmay Parishad Local Talent Award-2081'. The prize amount is 25 thousand rupees. The

Parishad awarded the Literary Martyr Krishnalal Adhikari Memorial Award-2081 to journalist Rochak Ghimire. The award fund has been established in memory of Krishnalal Adhikari, the author of the book 'Makai', who became a martyr while fighting for the end of the brutal Jahanian Rana regime through literature. The council said that the award has been started from the interest amount of the fund. The prize money is Rs 50,000 and a certificate. Bhupal Rai, the chancellor of Nepal Pragya Pratishthan, awarded all three.
