It was a tragedy of the Nepali film industry that one film after another was a commercial failure. In previous years, only one film would secure good business and investment and most of the films were destined to release on the same day.
But this year, the situation was different for Nepali films. Since the beginning of the year, the Nepali film sector is experiencing a different experience. The ray of hope spread by Sulakshan Bharti's film 'Boksi Ko Ghar', which was released in Baisakh, is still continuing.
films are not only commercially successful, but serious stories on social issues are also being welcomed by the audience when comedy genre films are competing. Be it 'Pujaar Sarki' or 'Farki Farki', or 'Gharzwai' . 'Mansara' and Degree' Myla's earnings were not disappointing. The Naveen Subba directorial film 'Gaon Inya Bato', which traveled to prestigious international festivals, also did satisfactory business in Nepal. The film did business of more than 4 crore rupees from Nepal.
The film 'Khusma', which was released a few weeks before Dasain, also got a large audience . It is also giving a positive message to the film industry as films of different genres are becoming commercially successful one after the other.

The business up to the fourth week of the film's release was announced by the production team on Thursday. According to distributor Govind Shahi, the film's business is above 255 million by the fourth week. In recent years, there has been a 'drought' of action films in Nepal. Even though the film shows are getting less and less, the halls are full of audience.
Deepashree Niraula's film 'Chakka Panja 5', which was screened on the day of Phoolpati, also maintained its grip on the audience. According to the statistics released by the production team a week ago, the film had a business of over 19 crores. Since then, the number of shows of the film is shrinking . Even though the number of shows was very less compared to the two films, the audience in the halls was thick. According to director Niraula, the film has done business of Rs 5 crore 25 lakh so far.
Siddharth Pudasaini's film 'Sano Sansar', which was re-released on 9 Kartik, received good reviews. But did not get the audience as expected. Arjun Kumar, the producer of the film, complains that the hall management did not give his film a show.
According to him, the film got only one show . The film is in only one hall. But there is Housefull. Halwalas did injustice to our film,' he complains. Earlier, the business of 'Sano Sansar', which was shown along with 'Ankha' on October 11, was flooded due to the incessant rains across the country. Producer Arjun Kumar postponed the film while the floods were causing huge loss of life. After that, even when it was re-released, the film did not do much business . The data about the film's business so far has not been released.

Producer Vinod Poudel claims that the film did a business of 28.5 million on Thursday alone. The film got very low shows in the opening days. Instead, those who came to the demonstration on the same day Hindi films 'Singam Again' and 'Bhul Bhulaiya 3' got more shows.
Now the film is getting an unexpected show . The film was released in 389 theaters on Thursday and 395 theaters on Friday. The film received 400 shows on Friday alone.
Filmmakers are optimistic when the audience prefers one film after another. Will this hope be maintained from the films that will be shown after this or not? That remains to be seen.
