The Nepali Embassy in Colombo, the capital of Sri Lanka, has announced that the passport renewal and consular services camp conducted in Male, Maldives has been completed.

According to the embassy, ​​more than 50 Nepalis were provided with various consular services, including passport renewal, on June 5 through a camp conducted under the representation of Acting Ambassador Vijay Kumar Raut.

Considering the high demand, the embassy has said that it has re-run the camp on June 7. On the second day, about 40 Nepali citizens were provided with passport and consular services. In addition, the embassy has stated that more than 20 Nepalis were provided with legal assistance and counseling services in collaboration with the embassy's Third Secretary Arendra Maharjan.
