Nepali tea has got an opportunity to promote itself in the world's largest market, China. Nepal has got the opportunity to promote its products for the first time in the 20th edition of the Beijing International Tea Exhibition.

Ambassadors of Sri Lanka, Ghana, Nepal and other countries to China participated in the opening ceremony of the exhibition.
Economic Minister of the Nepali Embassy Parbati Aryal said that Nepali organic tea is organic and pure in terms of climate and that the demand for Nepali organic tea is increasing in the global tea market. Aryal said that Nepal produces 13,130 million tons of CTC tea and 2,000 million tons of orthodox tea.
Nepali tea is consumed in the domestic market and is exported to major markets such as China, India, America, Australia, Italy, Pakistan, and Bangladesh. Aryal informed that the produced Nepali Orthodox tea is mostly exported to Japan, America, Germany, India and other destinations. The exhibition will run till Monday.
The main theme of this year's tea exhibition is to serve rural revitalization. Nepali businessmen said that they expect the tea brand promotion conference to establish brand promotion channels for underdeveloped areas. Prakash Lama, a tea businessman in Thamel, said that tea produced at high altitudes is very popular with the Chinese. He said, "Such exhibitions have been held in China for a long time. Even though China is the tea market for Nepal, it is a good opportunity to get the opportunity for the first time." 
The main attraction of this year's tea exhibition is the production and sale of spring tea. The expo also showcased green tea, black tea, dark tea, white tea, yellow tea, oolong tea, flower tea, and herbal tea categories. During the opening period, Sri Lankan Ceylon black tea and Nepalese high-mountain tea were also showcased in the internationally renowned tea area.
Chinese media reported that business competitions and cultural activities will be held throughout the exhibition.
