Maskey elected as president of Nepal-Canada Friendship Association

An expanded meeting of the association held in the capital decided to give the responsibility of the president to Maskey. Maskey was previously the treasurer.

Maskey elected as president of Nepal-Canada Friendship Association

Niroj Maskey has been appointed as the chairperson of the Nepal-Canada Friendship and Cultural Association. An expanded meeting of the association held in the capital decided to appoint Maskey as the chairperson. Maskey was previously the treasurer.

An extended meeting chaired by Acting President Rameshwor Shrestha decided to give the responsibility of the association president to the current vice president of volleyball, Maske. The meeting approved Maske as the vacant president, Dr. Shreedhar Gautam as the co-president, Dr. Gopal Pokharel as the vice-president, Mandira Bhandari as the treasurer, Diksha Pandey as the co-treasurer, and Tashi Syangmo Gurung as the advisor.

Acting President Shrestha informed about the current status of the association. Newly appointed President Maske thanked all the members, office bearers, and advisors of the Nepal-Canada Friendship and Cultural Association and expressed her commitment to actively fulfill her responsibilities.

President Maske said that she will work on cultural development plans by organizing interaction programs, discussions, and deepening the mutual friendship between the two countries. She informed that the association will organize a large gathering soon and work on a new action plan.

The Nepal-Canada Friendship and Cultural Association is an organization formed with a plan to promote mutual friendship, goodwill, and cultural exchange between the two countries. Maskey is the fifth president of the association, which was established in 2059 BS.
