On the occasion of the Tihar festival, a mass Deusi Bhailo program was held on the first day of Kaag Tihar in Columbus, Ohio, and Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, two cities in the United States with a large Nepali population.
Hundreds of Nepali locals, including US state lawmakers and local representatives, enjoyed the Deusi Bhailo program.
The program, organized by the International Welfare and Support Foundation of America, a charitable organization active in the field of Nepali culture, featured a group of Nepali children, teenagers, and young women born and raised in the United States, as well as Nepalis born in various parts of Nepal, Bhutan, and India and permanently residing in the United States.
