During the Dasain festival, a Navadurga tableau exhibition was held in Adelaide, Australia. Introduction of Navadurga, spiritual significance and worship of Navadurga were discussed through a tableau prepared in the form of nine goddesses.

This event, organized for the first time in Australia, was different. The participants presented on the stage in the form of Navadurga gave a glimpse of Navadurga . Women from Nepali and Indian communities were presented as Navadurga.

Their presentation and look made us feel the Navadurga worshiped on Dasain and their appearance. Apart from introducing the participants about each Durga, their history and reasons for worship were also shared with the common people. 

The tableau displayed on the occasion of the Dasaintihar festival organized by Australia-based Brahma Kumaris Adelaide on the occasion of Dasain enchanted the Nepalese as well as other local participants. Co-leader of the South Australian opposition party Josh Teague and MP Jing Li who participated in the

festival said that Nepal is not only rich in culture but also played a role in making Australia known as a multicultural country. Vikas Sharma Pokharel of

organizing organization said that the program held for the first time was better than expected and conveyed a spiritual and cultural message to the participants.  In the

program, Navadurga Jhanki, Navadurga Aarti as well as dances reflecting the culture of Dasaintihar were presented . Similarly, Bhupali Band presented live music.
