The Nepali Embassy has organized a four-day passport camp in Jaduya, Baghdad, the capital of Iraq. The passports of 47 Nepalis were renewed in the camp. A travel permit to return to Nepal was issued to those whose passports had expired.
First Secretary Premraj Gautam and Third Secretary Naveen Parajuli were sent to Baghdad by the Nepali Embassy in Kuwait, which deals with the affairs of Iraq.
The passport camp was organized in coordination with Non-Resident Nepali Association, Iraq. NRNA Iraq has expressed its gratitude to Foreign Minister Arju Rana Deuba and Ambassador Ghanshyam Lamsal for sending a team from the embassy for the passport camp.
