The Nepali Embassy in Malaysia is going to hold a passport and consular camp in Penang on May 24 and 25. The embassy has requested to fill the passport application form in advance to renew the passport.
The embassy said that passport renewal, passport collection and labor related issues will be heard in the camp. According to the embassy, there will be a fee of 240 ringgit to renew an old passport and 360 ringgit to renew a lost, damaged or torn passport.
The Nepali Embassy in Kuala Lumpur is about 350 kilometers away from Penang. The embassy said that a mobile camp has been organized in Penang to hear the passport and labor related problems of Nepali workers working in Penang area.
