According to the Saudi government, 1.6 million migrant workers are working in the construction sector of Saudi Arabia through 133 employer companies. The share of Nepali workers has not been disclosed.

Speaking at the Global Project Management Forum (GPMF) held in Saudi Arabia, Saudi Municipal Minister Majid Al-Hajjal said that 133,000 companies are working to support the integrated urban development of Saudi Arabia.

He said that 1.6 million workers involved in the construction sector are helping to implement the 2030 plan of the Saudi government. We have created a roadmap to advance the economic, social and development of Saudi Arabia. It is getting support," he said.
