Umesh Rai, a Nepali bodybuilder living in the UK, has come to Nepal to participate in the 17th Dharmashree Bodybuilding Championship to be held in 2025. He has achieved many successes in the field of bodybuilding at the national and international level.

Rai laid the foundation for his bodybuilding career in 2016 after finishing third in the 14th Dharmashree competition. He then won the second Mr. Everest title in 2018 and won the first South Asian Bodybuilding Championship in November of the same year. 

Similarly, in 2019, he got the fifth place in the Kuwait Classic and on May 4, he won the seventh Mr. Himalayan title.

By becoming the winner of the third Nepal National Championship in 2020, he maintained his dominance in the country. After winning the 16th Mr. Dharmashree title in 2022, he won a silver medal in the Asian Bodybuilding Championship on July 20 of the same year.

He has responded that he is very excited to participate in this prestigious competition of Nepal.
