Kamal Adhikari, a missing Nepali student from London, has come in contact with the Nepali Embassy after one and a half months. Bipin Duwadi, deputy head of the Nepali Embassy in London, informed that the 23-year-old officer, who had been out of contact since February 2, was found safe.
He said, Kamal was contacted while he was staying in a homeless shelter in East London. As soon as he came in contact, we have informed his family in Nepal, at their request, preparations have started to send him back to Nepal.'
Duwadi says that Kamal himself also expressed his desire to return to Nepal with the embassy. According to the Embassy, his physical and mental health is good and his passport is at the UK Home Office.
Kamal, who was studying at 'University of Creative Arts' in London, reached the street after his housekeeper kicked him out. After that, after he was lost from London, the family filed a request to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs asking for a search.
After receiving information about Kamal's disappearance, the Nepali Embassy in London notified the London Metropolitan Police and asked for a search. Officer of Hanspur-6 in Dhanusha came to UK for studies in 2022.
