Suresh Khadka elected as president of Oman NRNA

Suresh Khadka has been elected as the president of Non-Resident Nepali Social Club.

The eighth convention held in Muscat, the capital of Oman, has elected a new working committee. Oman has recognized the non-resident Nepali Social Club for its charitable work of the Nepali community. Recognizes only one club for each national community operating in Oman. According to Deepak Shrestha, a member of the election committee, according to Oman's rules, the convention must be completed within the month of March. Inaugurating the

conference, Nepali Ambassador to Oman Dornath Aryal said that the coordination with NRN has been effective for the benefit of the Nepali community in Oman.

The former Vice President of the Non-Resident Nepali Association, DB Chhetri, administered the oath to the elected working committee and wished them the best for the effective implementation of the manifesto passed by the convention.

The Congress has issued a declaration including conducting a campaign to make regular contributions to the Nepalis in Oman in the contribution-based social security fund, making policy reforms, adding health insurance for contributors' parents, taking initiatives to bring domestic workers under regulation, and playing a role in the labor agreement between Oman and Nepal, which is in the pipeline.
