The Kandel Cup will be held on March 8 and 9 in Melbourne, Australia. The winner of this competition, which will be held at the International Sports Center in Melbourne, will receive a cash prize of 12,000 Australian dollars.
A total of 40 teams will participate in this tournament, which is going to be organized by the successful Nepali football club Yeti Football Club located here. Known as one of the biggest tournaments in Nepali football tournament in Australia, teams from Sydney, Canberra, Gold Coast, Brisbane, Tasmania and Adelaide will participate in it. In the press release issued by Karn Rana, president of the
organizer Yeti Club, the runner-up team of the competition will be awarded 4,500 dollars, and the winner and runner-up will be awarded 2,500 dollars and 1,000 dollars in the over-35 club competition. Rana said that the tournament was organized as an effort to familiarize the players and staff with Australian and Nepali football through the game. He said that this competition is the 14th edition.
