The price of gold and silver has decreased slightly in the local market today. Compared to yesterday, Thursday, gold has dropped by Rs. 5,800 per tola and silver by Rs. 155.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Associations, the price of hallmark gold per tola has been set at Rs. 285,500 today, while the price of the same quantity of silver has been fixed at Rs. 4,350. Yesterday, the price of hallmark gold per tola was Rs. 291,300 and the same quantity of silver was traded at Rs. 4,505.

Last Wednesday, the price of hallmark gold per tola was set at Rs. 291,000 and the same quantity of silver at Rs. 4,480. Last Tuesday, the price of hallmark gold per tola was Rs. 285,600 and the same quantity of silver was traded at Rs. 4,370.

According to international media, in the international market today, one ounce of gold is being traded at 4,045 US dollars and silver at 57 US dollars.
