The NEPSE index, which measures share trading, increased by 14.17 points on Thursday. After falling by double digits on Wednesday, NEPSE rose by over 14 points on Thursday. Compared to Wednesday, the overall NEPSE climbed by 0.52 percent to reach 2,726.72 points.
Of the companies traded on Thursday, the share prices of 153 companies increased, while those of 111 companies decreased. However, the prices of 12 companies remained stable that day.
On Thursday, a total of 17,22,222 shares were bought and sold in 57,782 transactions. The total transaction amount reached Rs 4.69 billion. The transaction amount decreased compared to the previous day. On Wednesday, share transactions amounted to Rs 5.18 billion.
On Thursday, the indices of all 13 subgroups traded, except for investment and others, increased. However, NEPSE reported that the index of the investment subgroup decreased by 0.42 percent and that of others by 0.08 percent.
