The NEPSE index, which measures share trading, fell by 13.95 points on Wednesday. After rising for six consecutive trading days, NEPSE declined by double digits on Wednesday. Compared to the previous day, the overall NEPSE dropped by 0.51 percent to close at 2,712.54 points.

On that day, a total of 11,362,465 shares were bought and sold in 56,094 transactions. The total turnover amounted to Rs 5.1874 billion. The transaction amount decreased compared to the previous day. On Tuesday, share trading had reached Rs 6.671 billion.
