The NEPSE index, which measures stock trading, rose by 7.25 points on Tuesday. The NEPSE, which had risen continuously for the previous 5 days, followed the same trend on Tuesday as well. However, the growth rate of the NEPSE decreased on Tuesday compared to the previous day. The NEPSE had increased by 79.74 points last Friday and 41.70 points on Monday.

Share investors met Prime Minister Balendra Shah on Monday. During the meeting, Prime Minister Shah urged investors to invest with confidence as the government was ready to solve the problems of the stock market. However, the stock market has been growing since last week.

The NEPSE rose by 0.26 percent compared to the previous day, reaching an overall NEPSE of 2,726.49 points.

Out of the companies that traded on Tuesday, the share prices of 103 companies increased while 162 companies decreased. However, the prices of 12 companies remained stable on that day.

A total of 14,924,302 shares were traded in 75,100 transactions on Tuesday. The transaction value of these purchases was Rs 6.67 billion. The transaction amount is higher than the previous day. On Monday, shares worth Rs 5.51 billion were traded.

Of the 13 subgroups that were traded on Tuesday, the indices of banking, investment, production and processing, others and trade increased. According to NEPSE data, the indices of the remaining subgroups decreased.
