The NEPSE index, which measures share turnover, rose by 14 points on Wednesday. The NEPSE, which had been declining continuously for the previous 4 trading days, rose by 6.11 points on Tuesday. Following the same trend, the NEPSE rose by double digits on Wednesday.

According to which, the NEPSE closed at 2,590.29 points at the close. This is an increase of 0.54 percent compared to the previous day.

Of the companies that traded on Wednesday, the share prices of 196 companies increased while 59 companies decreased. However, the prices of 19 companies remained stable on that day.

A total of 8.473 million shares were traded on that day in 38,836 transactions. The transaction value was worth 4.17 billion rupees. The transaction amount is half as much as the previous day. Shares worth Rs 8.41 billion 75 million were traded in the stock market on Tuesday.

Among the 13 subgroups that were traded on Wednesday, all indices except investment and mutual funds increased, leading to a double-digit increase in the NEPSE. However, the investment subgroup index fell by 0.46 percent, while the mutual fund index remained stable.
