The NEPSE index, which measures share trading in the securities market, has dropped by double digits. According to the Nepal Stock Exchange, the NEPSE index fell by 19.67 points to reach 2,601.92 points.
The Sensitive Index, which measures the trading of large companies, declined by 2.49 points to reach 454.19. Similarly, the Float Index decreased by 1.21 points to 178.68. The Sensitive Float Index also dropped by 0.92 points to 153.67.
On Thursday, 8,751,380 shares of various companies were bought and sold at a total value of NPR 4.61 billion 19 lakh 54 thousand 782. All 13 subgroups declined. The share prices of 42 companies increased, while those of 229 companies decreased.
According to NEPSE, investors in Upakar Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha, Snow River Limited, and Kumari Sabal Yojana made gains on Thursday, while investors in BOK Debenture, Salpa Development Bank, and Three Star Hydropower Company incurred losses.
