NEPSE index drops by 8.30 points

Despite the decline in the stock market, the share prices of companies including Sanigad, Snow Rivers, and Kalanga Hydro have increased by double digits.

The NEPSE index, which measures share turnover, fell by 8.30 points. After a decline of 0.31 percent, the overall NEPSE fell to 2,653.40 points. 

Of the companies that were traded, 103 shares increased, 160 shares decreased, and 14 shares remained unchanged. 

Sanigad Hydro increased by 15 percent, Snow Rivers Limited by 14.99 percent,  Kalanga Hydro Limited by 14.98 percent,  Nepal Finance by 14.92 percent, and  Khanikhola Hydropower by 11.63 percent. 

Upper Lahore Khola Hydropower by 13.65 percent,  Dhaulagiri Laghubitta by 11.21 percent, Crest Micro Life Insurance by 4.97 percent,  Samudrik Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha by 4.75 percent, and Universal Power Company by 4.72 percent. 

A total of 46,234 share transactions worth Rs 4.41 billion have been made. In these transactions, 8.584 million 401 shares were bought and sold.
