Finance Minister Swarnim Wagle has said that the government is working efficiently to remove Nepal from the grey list. He said this while answering the questions raised by the lawmakers during the discussion on the Prevention of Money Laundering (Third Amendment) Bill, 2083 in the House of Representatives meeting on Sunday. Finance Minister Wagle also said that his main task after the budget for the upcoming fiscal year is passed will be its implementation. He claimed that the country was on the grey list during the previous government's tenure and that the current government is working honestly and efficiently to remove it. "We have 15 main tasks. There are 4 classifications in this. Address, Largely Address, Partially Address and Not Address. After we came, there is a large address on three things. We are addressing it in four other areas,' he said, 'The Finance Minister, the Ministry of Finance has made a commitment to do whatever needs to be done to get out of that list by looking at this list, looking at the indicators.'

He said that after the budget is passed, his main responsibility is to immediately and promptly implement it. 'This progress is evaluated quarterly. There is a system of getting out of that list only after all the work related to the grey list is completed through such an evaluation,' he said, 'Now some honorable people have spoken based on misleading news that it has been put on the grey list again. It has not been put on the grey list again. It was put in 2081, we are in the process of removing it. That period is still left. We are working honestly and efficiently to remove it.'

Finance Minister Wagle said that the government has started work to remove it from the grey list by looking at all the indicators of the economy.
