The price of gold and silver has increased in the local market today. Compared to Friday, gold has increased by Rs 4,700 and silver by Rs 145 per tola. According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Merchants' Federation, the price of gold per tola has been fixed at Rs 283,800 and the same amount of silver at Rs 4,325. On Friday, one tola of gold was traded at Rs 279,100 and silver at Rs 4,180.
