Nepal Rastra Bank has revoked the license of Rastriya Money Changer Pvt. Ltd. The Rastra Bank has decided to revoke the license at the request of the company. This is a company located in Bhimdattanagar-4, Mahendranagar, Kanchanpur, which has been licensed by the Rastra Bank to conduct currency exchange transactions.
‘As per Regulation 22 of the Rastra Bank, Money Changer License and Inspection Regulations, 2077 (including the fourth amendment), the money changer has submitted an application to close its business and accordingly, the money changer business has to be closed and the license has to be revoked,’ the Rastra Bank notice said.
If anyone has any transactions or other concerns with the said money changer, the Rastra Bank has requested that this office be informed within 35 days from the date of publication of this notice.
