Mohan Dangi has been elected as the President of the 24th Annual General Meeting of the Independent Power Producers Association of Nepal (IPPAN).

Dangi was unanimously elected as the President as per the provisions of Article 15, Clause 12 of the statute of IPPAN.

Uttam Blon Lama has been unanimously elected as the Senior Vice President. Aspirant Balram Khatiwada has withdrawn his candidacy.

New leadership in IPPAN, Mohan Dangi as President and Uttam Blon as Senior Vice President Susan Karmacharya, Bikram Bista, Him Prasad Pathak, Uttar Kumar Shrestha and Narendra Ballabh Pant have been unanimously elected as the Vice Presidents.

Teknath Acharya (TN) from the Blon group has been elected as the General Secretary and Kavita Pokharel as the Deputy General Secretary.

There is a provision for five secretaries in the working committee. Abhinya Malla, Isha Shrestha, Suman Kumari Joshi, Kubermani Nepal and Vijay Mohan Bhattarai have been elected as the Secretaries.

Election was held for one post of Treasurer. Shankar Basyal from the Bholon group and Mithun Chakraborty Prasad Poudel from the Khatiwada group were in the competition. Basyal won by securing 267 votes.

The working committee will consist of seven members. Anup Acharya, Pratima Gyawali, Jyoti Gaire, Kadam KC, Jagat Bahadur Pokharel and Baran Lamichhane from the Bholon group and Jagadish Shiwakoti, Narayan Kandel, Sangeeta Dhamala and Milan Khadka from the Khatiwada group have been unanimously elected.
