The price of gold and silver has also decreased in the local market today. Gold has decreased by Rs 8,200 per tola and silver by Rs 335. According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Merchants' Federation, the price of one tola of gold has been fixed at Rs 3,800 today, while that of silver has been fixed at Rs 4,895. Last Friday, one tola of gold was traded at Rs 3,900 and the same amount of silver at Rs 5,230.
