The Economic Survey 2082/83 mentions that 9 portable digital X-ray machines equipped with artificial intelligence software have been introduced as the latest technology in the process of expanding the ‘Tuberculosis-Free Nepal Campaign’ to the local levels.
The survey states that active search for tuberculosis patients at the community level has been started through these machines.
