The Nepse index, which measures share trading, fell by 9.24 points on Tuesday. The Nepse, which had increased by double digits on Friday and Monday, fell on Tuesday.

The overall Nepse closed at 2,777.10 points, down 0.33 percent on Tuesday compared to the previous day.

Of the companies traded on Tuesday, 69 increased their share prices while 190 companies decreased. However, the prices of 11 companies remained stable.

A total of 11,872,507 shares were traded in 52,751 transactions on Tuesday. Shares worth Rs 4.85 billion were traded in those transactions. The transaction amount also decreased compared to the previous day. Shares worth Rs 5.98 billion were traded in the stock market on Monday.

Out of the 13 subgroups traded on Tuesday, all indices except mutual funds and non-life insurance declined, leading to a decline in the overall Nepse index by 9.25 points.
