Spokesperson of the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supplies, Joint Secretary Netra Prasad Subedi, informed Ikantipur about Bhatt's resignation.
Bhatt was appointed as the Executive Director on 2080 Falgun 6 during the then Pushpa Kamal Dahal-led government. Bhatt had previously worked as the Executive Director of Nepal Oil Corporation. He had worked as the Executive Director from 2070 Jestha to 2070 Mangsir.
