Finance Minister Swarnim Wagle has said that the policies and programs have come as per the government's agenda and pledge, and the budget will come accordingly. Addressing the Kantipur Economic Summit virtually, the Finance Minister also said that now is the time to reap the dividends of good governance. He said, 'We have paid the price of misgovernance, now is the time to reap the dividends of good governance.' He also said that the upcoming budget will be based on the concepts of e-governance, digital delivery, and digital economy. He emphasized on making service delivery effective through digital. He said that various international studies have shown that Nepal's environmental conditions are very suitable for data centers. He said that all work in the information and technology sector will be done from the Prime Minister's Office. He also said that the import-based economy will be restructured. He also said that the tax burden on the middle class will be reduced.
