The government has stated that it will provide services such as company registration, tax exemption, seed capital and others in a single day through the Startup Nepal portal. President Ram Chandra Poudel said this while presenting the policy and program for the fiscal year 2083/084.
The government has now stated that it will provide everything from company registration to seed capital through a single portal. Earlier, startup loans were being disbursed through the Industrial Business Establishment. Similarly, company registration has been done at the Company Registrar's Office and investment approval has been done by the Department of Industries and Industry and industry registration has been done. The Balendra Shah-led government has made arrangements for industries with paid-up capital of up to Rs 250 million to be registered through provincial offices.
The government also mentions developing green market villages, information technology parks, agricultural production centers, and industrial zones based on manufacturing and innovation, and linking them with industrial tourism.
