The NEPSE index, which measures share trading, has increased by 27.49 points. After increasing by 1.0 percent, the overall NEPSE index has risen to 2,745.65 points. Although the NEPSE rose by 6.94 points on Thursday, the turnover was limited to 2.93 billion rupees. Which was the lowest turnover in 6 months. The maximum turnover this week is 4.5 billion rupees. 4.26 billion rupees were traded on Monday, 3.43 billion rupees on Tuesday, 3.19 billion rupees on Wednesday and 2.93 billion rupees on Thursday. 3.28 billion rupees were traded on Friday.

The market has declined as big investors have been in a 'wait and see' mode, which has also kept small investors from increasing their investments, said Bharat Ranabhat, former president of the Stock Brokers Association. 'The transaction has also decreased because the regulation on securities trading operations requires strict implementation of the provision that orders for buying shares should be taken only with at least 25 percent of the amount,' he said. 

The prices of all subgroups including banking, development banks, hotels and tourism, hydropower, life insurance, microfinance, and others increased, while the prices of the business subgroup remained stable. The share price of Trishuli Hydropower Company increased by 10 percent, Hotel Forest Inn by 7.90 percent, Suryakunda Hydroelectric by 6.12 percent, NIC Asia Balance Fund by 5.74 percent, and Pure Energy by 5.34 percent. 

Swavalamban Laghubitta's share price fell by 6.54 percent, Global IME Samunnat Yojana-2 by 2.62 percent, Forward Laghubitta by 2.47 percent, Himalayan 80-20 by 2.32 percent, and RBB Focus 40 by 2.30 percent. Financial analyst Mukti Aryal said that even after the government started looking for sources of investment in shares, it has spread fear among investors. He said that the government should now reassure those who invest from their own income. 

Hotel Forest Inn, Reliance Spinning Mills, Solu Hydropower, Ngadi Group Power and Ridi Power Company were ahead in terms of turnover. Hotel Forest Inn had a turnover of Rs 138.6 million, Reliance Spinning Mills had a turnover of Rs 136.4 million, Solu Hydropower had a turnover of Rs 123 million, Ngadi Group Power had a turnover of Rs 116.3 million and Ridi Power Company had a turnover of Rs 101.5 million.

With the increase in NEPSE, the size of the stock market (total market capitalization) has increased by 46.89 billion 78 million rupees. The total market capitalization, which was 46.35 billion 96.21 billion rupees on Thursday, has been maintained at 46.82 billion 86 million rupees on Friday.
