In the stock market today, the NEPSE index fell by 34.63 points, with the prices of 27 companies increasing and the prices of 240 companies decreasing.

The Nepse index, which measures share turnover, fell by 34.63 points. The Nepse, which decreased by 1.26 percent, fell to 2,704.08 points.

Today, the share prices of a total of 27 companies increased, the prices of 240 companies decreased, and the prices of 2 companies remained unchanged. Among the subgroups that came into trade, all subgroups except microfinance decreased. The microfinance subgroup increased by 0.14 points. Production and processing decreased by 290.68, development banks by 127.56, hotels and tourism by 107.01 points.

The circuit break occurred after the share price of Forward Microfinance increased by 15 percent. Jhapa Energy Limited's share price increased by 7.99, Century Debenture 2088's 2.98, NIC Asia Growth Fund-2's 2.79 and The share price of Civil Bank Debenture 2088 increased by 2.60 points.

The share price of Corporate Bikas Bank decreased by 12.58 points, Mai Khola Hydropower by 8.59 points, Narayani Bikas Bank by 8.22 points, Salpa Bikas Bank by 8.01 points and Srinagar Agritech Industries Limited by 7.68 points.

A total of 68,635 transactions worth Rs 4.26 billion 5.39 billion were made. In these transactions, 174,524 shares were bought and sold.
