The NEPSE index, which measures share trading, fell by 25.81 points on Wednesday. Compared to Tuesday, the overall NEPSE fell by 0.93 percent on Wednesday to 2,744.45 points.

Of the companies traded on Wednesday, the price of 30 increased, the price of 235 companies decreased and the price of 4 remained unchanged. On that day, a total of 121,343,600 shares were traded in 1,04,050 transactions.

Shares worth Rs 4.9862 billion were traded in those transactions. This is a decrease compared to the previous trading day. Shares worth Rs 6.5317 billion were traded on Tuesday.

Of the 13 subgroups traded on that day, the indices of development banks, mutual funds and business subgroups increased. After the indices of the remaining subgroups decreased, the overall NEPSE closed in the negative by 25.81 points.
