The price of gold and silver has also decreased in the local market today. Gold has decreased by Rs 2,200 per tola and silver by Rs 75. According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers Federation, today the price of gold in the local market has been fixed at Rs 296,500 per tola and the same amount of silver at Rs 4,945. On Thursday, gold in the local market was traded at Rs 298,700 per tola and the same amount of silver at Rs 5,020. Last Wednesday, gold in the local market was bought and sold at Rs 350,000 and silver at Rs 5,130.
