The NEPSE index, which measures share trading, rose by 33.27 points on Wednesday. The overall NEPSE rose by 1.17 percent compared to last Monday to 2,866.87 points. The NEPSE closed last Monday with a decrease of 4.18 points. The stock market was closed on Tuesday due to a public holiday.

Of the companies that were traded on Wednesday, the prices of 221 companies increased, the prices of 45 companies decreased, and the prices of 3 remained unchanged.

On that day, 26,438,521 shares were bought and sold in a total of 123,359 share transactions. Shares worth Rs 10.537 billion were traded in those transactions. The transaction amount increased compared to the previous trading day. Shares worth Rs 8.6655 billion were traded on Tuesday.

The overall NEPSE recorded a high increase after all the indices of the 13 subgroups that were traded on that day increased.
