The provincial government, which has been weak in budget expenditure since its establishment, appears to be weaker than last year. Last year, it had spent 22 percent of the budget at this time. It was claimed that the projects included in the budget book in the current fiscal year would be taken to the procurement process on time and work would begin. However, even after eight months of the start of the fiscal year, the development budget has been stuck in the provincial government's reserve account as the development plans have not progressed as expected.
