Of the companies traded on that day, 251 increased in value, 15 decreased in value, and two remained unchanged. A total of 18.816 million shares were traded in 98,162 transactions. Shares worth Rs. 8.31 billion 8.9 billion were traded in those transactions. The trading amount increased compared to the previous trading day. Last Tuesday, shares worth Rs. 8.81 billion 9.7 billion were traded in the stock market.
The overall NEPSE rose by 45 points after all the indices of the 13 subgroups traded on that day increased.
